Carol Boston was first elected to the Santa Rosa County School Board in 2014, re-elected in 2018, and re-elected again in 2022. She is now serving her third elected term — and by the end of this term will have served 12 years as a board member. Her fellow board members have elected her Chair three times and Vice Chair twice, reflecting consistent peer trust built through competence, collaboration, and integrity.
Carol's 23 years of service to Santa Rosa County School District span both her career as an SRCSD employee and her elected service. Before joining the board, she served 8 years on School Advisory Councils — including as Chair — giving her a direct, sustained connection to parents, teachers, and school communities across the county.
Carol's campaign is built on a simple belief: every decision made in that boardroom should begin with one question — what is best for our students? That is the standard she has held herself to for twelve years, and the standard she will continue to uphold.
She has been recognized by community leaders and local media for her commitment to public education, including being featured in Pensacola Magazine's "The Women's Issue" alongside other women seeking change through the ballot box.
Beyond the School Board, Carol serves on the Board of Directors of Santa Rosa Kids' House — an organization dedicated to protecting abused and neglected children in our community. She is running for re-election to Santa Rosa County School Board District 3 because she believes the work is not finished.
